Coaching

Coaching

You’re carrying the pressure, the change, the growth — and something still isn’t quite landing. From the outside it looks like you’ve got it handled. From where you’re sitting, you’re stalled.

That’s usually where coaching starts.

Coaching may be for you if you’re not quite in need of psychological therapy but you’re feeling stuck and in need of some collaborative work to help you gain clarity on your goals and keep you moving forward. Coaching is not therapy. Coaching is future- focused, structured and goal directed. In coaching we work with where you want to go rather than working through what’s happened in your past.

Coaching sessions might be for you if you’re:

A manager, leader or fellow health professional carrying pressure, change, or growth that you would like support through

It’s probably not the right time if:

You’re in psychological distress or need clinical support — that’s what therapy is for, and it deserves its own space. If that becomes clear once we’re talking, I’ll gently say so and I’ll help you find the right support. And because coaching and therapy are different kinds of work, I’m not able to be your coach and your therapist at the same time — if you’re already in therapy with me, coaching isn’t something we can add alongside it.

What sessions look like:

In addition to my psychology qualifications, I am also an IECL certified organisational coach. Reach out and we can have a conversation about 1-1 coaching packages that could work for you. Coaching sessions are 60 minutes and can be face to face in Brisbane or online via telehealth. Packages include a set number of 1-1 sessions and phone/text support in between sessions.
